I've always been intrigued how only small fragments of lion brands' (e.g. Stella McCartney, Celine, Comme Des Garçons, Chanel, etc.) collections are shown on the runway.
I know it's part of the fashion industry - showing what's showable, selling what's sellable. I'm down with that. But I still feel kinda excited when I go to a department store and see a piece from the runway I remember seeing in a magazine or online. Dunno why, but it's kind of a cheap excitement. It's probably because I'm from Eastern Europe.
But still, a little game I find very amusing to play now and then is one I introduced to the world - and it's called Matchy-match, Fashion edition.
So, to be brief and efficient:
1. Find a runway look
2. Find the piece from the runway in the shop/online
3. Feel happy
4. The one with the highest score gets a kiss
So, it's quite benign and fun - try it and you won't regret it.
Now I've prepared a little demo game board, just so you can try it. :)
(ps. I haven't gone nuts, it's just for fun!)
