Last year when I went to London, I bought aaall bunch of stuff. Stuff I did & did not need.
This year, I decided to buy rationally - more of the high-quality stuff, and less of the bullsh*t stuff. Of course, I HAD to buy some novelty goods, but most of the stuff I got were special & unique pieces I wouldn't be able to find in my hometown. One of the sneaks I got for myself were the Nike Air 180 EM Quickstrike, my newest addition to the running-sneaker collection (I'm very proud of BTW).
And as always, as soon as I got them, I found a new pair to dream about. It's the beautiful Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 sneaker. Of all the colour combos, these 3 are my favs, but of course my first pick would have to be the green-blue-navy-pink combo (scroll down low).
What I'm looking for when browsing for a perfect pair of sneaks is that they look cool enough to be appropriate enough to be pulled off as part of a more formal outfit. At the end of the day, a pair of sneakers is a pair of sneakers, meaning it's sportswear, not formalwear. Yet somehow, I love mixing the sporty element with the more put-together looks. (It's probably a complex of having a 90's childhood when most of my wardrobe was sportswear)
The Nike Air Pegasus 83/30 truly are a great addition to ones closet since the shape of the shoe is quite retro & classic, but the combination of colours & the mesh gives the whole story a new moment. Listen up, it's not about the sneaker-philosophy (if there ever was one), but about the way of finding the perfect sporty shoe to be worn all day, throughout the season, whenever and wherever.
But don't get me wrong, even these fabulous knick can't go to the theatre.
