I usually don't do 2 loobook/collection posts in a row, BUT for every rule - there's an exception. And this is a good one.
One of my favourite Croatian designers & probably one of the most successful are Andreja Bistričić & Maja Merlić aka Dioralop that created their whole little world in these last 2 years they work together. As always they introduced unique prints incorporated in their signature urban silhouettes - androgynous looks with immaculate detailing. Although they're always going for the Victor-Victoria aesthetic, I feel that this time they offered some softer looks that could even be called feminine. The colour scheme is absolutely on trend, yet their clothes look nothing but trend-setting. Tribal elements within both the print and the cuts make the collection stand out from the past ones, but they still remained within their linings - if I saw any of the designs in the middle of the night, I'd know it was by DIORALOP. It's really amazing that a young brand like this one already has a strong point of view, which is a great evidence of undeniable talent.
Their work is obviously cut out for the world, and not our small country, so I'm glad they showed their 5th collection in Paris, in collaboration with Fashion Scout. After seeing how their work continues to grow and their creativity amazes everyone each time they do something new, I honestly can't wait for their next step. Because, judging on this last one - it's going to be nothing less than perfect.
