I'm writing this post with my last ounce of energy.
First and foremost, I'm extremely sorry for not posting, but it's been an intense couple of days, so something had to suffer, and at the moment - the blog was the scapegoat.
First day of my first London Fashion Week was expectedly hectic & tense, but definitely interesting and inspirational (a lot of adjectives I know!). I'll be reviewing the shows later (aka when I end some of my work, and get an hour or so to write everything down). I'll also be doing a video from the whole fashion week, so I hope that comes out interesting.
Now about the outfit.
A lot of explaining to do.
I decided to go all out for the the occasion because when can you go crazy, if not for the LFW? I got this amazing oversized Starstyling tee from Roba stora a month or so ago, and I instantly knew I'll be wearing it in September for the shows. The hat was a last-minute home-made project (thanks to my patient sister who acted as my plastic mannequin head) which came out kinda like I wanted it to look. The idea's been stuck in my head from the moment I found this kitschy feathered necklace that reminded me of Victorian evil queens so the contrast of big & bold neon colours came out quite humorous this time round (and that's just how I like it). The skinnies were an obvious choice, and so were my favourite running shoes. Thanks to my friend Ana, I had something to put all my invites, phone, cards, money, camera, surviving kit etc. into.
I must say I'm pretty excited about the rest of the Fashion Week since the first one was quite a success - both in a creative and a personal kinda way.
