I often think about turning my blog into a completely menswear-themed one, but I love womenswear and female fashion too much to leave it outside.
BUT, one of my favourite time of the year is definitely when the menswear fashion shows take place in London, Milan & Paris. It's a time just before the couture shows when the men get a chance to see what will be à la mode the next year. I think it's quite different than womenswear fashion weeks because of the fact that menswear is very narrow minded, and there aren't many ways of being creative within its limits so it's interesting how designers handle that fact.
My favourite for the s/s 2014 collections is definitely Dries Van Noten whose creations I always love, but this time it looks better than ever - floral prints that are shown in an exceptionally masculine way because of the shapes and cuts which are more sharp, strong, and classic than the prints themselves. It's a contrast situation that actually works.
Other collections I loved are Jil Sander (written about it HERE), e tautz, Carven, and Haider Ackermann. And just for fun, I decided to show you my TOP 30 looks from the s/s 2014 collections!
