is there anybody going to listen to my story all about the girl who came to stay?

hello boys&girls!

firstly, I'm super-sorry for not posting yesterday.

it was a busy day (like any other right now) and I visited a cool fashion event where they promote young fashion designers called 'modni ormar'.

I must thank the greatest editor-in-chief of the fashion site I write for (push it moda) Sanjin that got the press pass! :D

THANK YOU SANJIN!

I'm also visiting next week's DFWZ (dreft fashion week zagreb) so I'll post some fashion shows I like. :D

tomorrow I'm gonna post the best of the best from today's and yesterday's fashion shows on modni ormar. :D

but since today's a saturday...

HERE GOES THE INTERVIEW! :D

my friend and co-writer at push it moda called Lora Vran is a student at croatians school of textile and technologies and she's also a great jewelry designer.

she's new to that business but when I saw her LoV(e) button rings I instantly FELL IN LOVE!

here's the q&a! :D

1. When did you start making and selling your jewelry?

Few weeks ago. I made one ring for my roommate and it got positive critiques so, I started making few ore and decided to start up a facebook page for selling it.

2. How did you come up with the name of your brand?

Hmmm, I really thought a lot about it. At first, I wanted to put my initials in the name but it was similar to Louis Vuitton. So, I used my initials but in  different waz. LoV sounded like love so I added an e in a bracket and that’s how LoV(e) was made. :D

3. Can you live solely from selling your jewelry?

I just started so it’s hard to say. For now I have few orders.

4. How do you see the future of your brand?

The rings are going to be the main thing but I’m planning to start making some new stuff. I’m not going to tell anything more because I want it to be a surprise. (: But I would definitely want to elevate my rings to a whole new level.

5. What is your favourite piece of your jewelry?

I love all of them, I really can’t choose. :D

6. What would you like to say to your current and future fans?

I would like to thank everyone for the support. I really got great critiques and it means a lot to me. I’m looking forward to every new fan of my facebook page. I also got some complaints that the rings are too big. But that’s what I’m trying to achieve- to make you put only the ring to complete your outfit. So, no other piece of jewelry is needed.
I would also like to ask my every buyer to post photos of themselves wearing my rings on my facebook page so that people who don’t have ideas on how to wear them get  inspired.

7. What's your inspiration and where do you go to find new ideas?

In the beginning I was hand-painting the buttons and later I started to attaching them to the bows. I get inspired by the materials I use. Sometimes I start making the bow so I look for the button to match the textile but sometimes I like to hand-paint the material to match the button.

8. Was your knowledge of fashion design helpful in making of your brand LoV(e)?

I suppose it was.  I’m not seeing the influence in this moment but it is definitely helpful in making my future products.

I would like to thank Lora for this lovely and fun interview! :D

here's the link to her page where you can find all of her products and you can order them! :D

hope you like it! ˆ*

x's

p.s. strašno me podsjećaš na njega: http://darklydexter.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/michael_c_hall184729-300x300.jpg
